# Getting started as an agency

> Set up your first client, agree the details, then start tracking. Account at the end, payment after the first analysis.

Start at [app.koalr.ai/agency-start](https://app.koalr.ai/agency-start), or choose **I'm an agency** on the standard start page.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Set up your first client">
    Enter the client's website. Koalr reads it and proposes topics, prompts, competitors and platforms, exactly as it does for a single site, and creates a client workspace to hold it. Several client sites can be set up in one batch.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Agree the details">
    Review the proposed setup with the client. Edit topics, prompts and competitors; download the **setup sign-off PDF** for them to approve. Nothing launches until you approve.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create your account">
    Your agency account and its first workspace are created at this point, with a 7-day free trial covering up to 3 client sites.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Run the first analysis">
    The first analysis runs before you are asked to pay, so you walk into the subscription looking at real data rather than a promise.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Subscribe">
    One subscription, one flat fee per client site, on a single invoice. See [Agency billing](/agencies/billing).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## After the first client

Add clients from Agency Admin with **Add client**, or add sites to an existing client from their card. Each new site joins the pool and the bill automatically.

## Already a Koalr customer?

An existing retail organisation can be converted into an agency without losing its sites. Email [support@koalr.ai](mailto:support@koalr.ai).

## Coming from elsewhere

Koalr counts prompts per site rather than sharing one pool per plan, includes every platform on every site, and charges a flat fee per client site rather than per client workspace. The [pricing page](https://koalr.ai/pricing) has the comparison.
