# Bing Webmaster Tools

> Connect Bing with read-only access to see Bing Search performance, the index behind Copilot.

Bing's index powers Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT's web search. Bing Search may be a small channel for you directly, but its view of your site shapes what Copilot can cite.

## Connecting

1. **Integrations, Bing Webmaster Tools, Connect Bing**, or the **Bing** section under a site in Org Admin.
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns your site in Bing Webmaster Tools and approve read-only access.
3. Pick the Bing site to link to this Koalr site.

Data is pulled daily. The **Bing Search** tab on the [AI Traffic](/monitor/ai-traffic) page shows clicks, impressions, top queries and top pages.

## Permissions

Read-only. Koalr cannot submit URLs, change settings or write anything in Bing Webmaster Tools.

## Getting a site into Bing Webmaster Tools

If your site is not there yet, add and verify it at bing.com/webmasters first. Sites already verified in Google Search Console can be imported into Bing in a few clicks.
