# Multi-site onboarding

> Set up several brands at once, or one brand across many towns and cities with a shared taxonomy.

From **Add site** choose **Multiple sites or locations**. Two paths:

## Several brands at once

Paste a list of domains. Koalr reads each site and proposes topics, prompts and competitors for every one of them. Review each site in turn, or download the setup summary, then **Launch analysis for all approved sites**. Nothing launches until you approve.

Each site gets its own country at setup and its own everything afterwards. The batch cap depends on your plan: Growth can launch 3 at a time, Business 6.

## One brand, many locations

For a brand that operates in several towns or cities in **one country**:

<Steps>
  <Step title="Seed the taxonomy">
    Give the primary site (the one Koalr crawls to build the shared taxonomy), the country, and whether the brand is Nationwide or covers Specific areas.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add locations">
    Add each town or city, with an optional location URL. Koalr localises the shared prompts per location and discovers rivals city by city.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the shared setup">
    Topics, prompts and the competitors that apply to every location (national chains) are reviewed once. Per-location rivals sit on each location's own review.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Launch">
    One site per location is created and the first run starts for all of them.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Afterwards, the **Multi-Site Dashboard** has a **Prompt Matrix** that compares the same prompts across every location, so you can see which towns the brand is winning and which are weak.

<Warning>
  This path is for many locations inside one market, not for many countries. One country is chosen for the whole batch. For several countries, create one site per market; see [Countries and languages](/set-up/countries-and-languages).
</Warning>

## For agencies

Agencies onboard client sites through Agency Admin, where each client gets its own workspace and the sites bill per site on one invoice. See [Onboarding clients](/agencies/onboarding-clients).
