For most teams a back catalogue is worth more than the next post. A page the AI platforms already index is cheaper and faster to improve than a new one is to write. The Refresh tab ranks your own pages by how much a rework would earn.

The list

Each row is one of your pages, with:
  • An effort band:
    • Quick win: an edit. Answer earlier, add the missing section, add an FAQ.
    • Worth a session: an hour or two of real rework.
    • Rebuild: too thin to save. The honest answer is to write the replacement version of that same page, same subject and address, through the create flow.
  • The prompts it should be winning, and who currently holds them.
  • The prompt it is closest to, and the rival page in the way.
The ranking costs nothing: it reads matches Koalr already made on the last run. Pages Koalr has not crawled cannot appear, and the tab says how many it can see. Rows can be dismissed (not worth reworking) or marked done.

The Refresh Workbench

Open a row. The page’s real headings sit on the left and a change list on the right. Every change is anchored to a heading and grounded in something specific: the rival passage it answers, the prompt it targets, the check it fixes. Changes come in kinds:
  • Heading Alignment, Key Phrase Coverage, Content Depth, FAQ Presence, Competitor Parity, Social Proof, Schema Markup and more.
  • Each carries the words on the page today and the words to replace them with, checked against the live page before they were stored. Show me this passage on the page highlights it.
Accept or reject each suggestion one at a time. Accepted edits form a revision brief you can copy, or the whole page can be rewritten in place with your accepted edits applied and everything else preserved exactly as written. A revision shows up under Drafts too, with the page it revises and how much of it was kept as it was.

Revision versus refresh

A revision preserves everything you did not touch. A refresh (the create flow with this page as the reference, which is what the Rebuild band hands off to) writes the page again from scratch. Do not confuse them: revision protects what already works.

Measuring a revision

A revised page is the strongest measurement case Koalr has. Where the page stood before the revision is snapshotted when you start it, so the Published tab can say “cited on 3 prompts, up from 0”: the same URL, before and after. A brand-new piece can never offer that.
