AI platforms build answers from sources. Sources shows which ones they trust in your category, so you know where to get featured and which of your own pages are already doing the work.

Your project-wide totals

At the top: Total Citations across your prompts, Your Citation Share (the share of citations that went to your domain), Competitor Domains cited, and Brand Mentions. The Source Usage chart beside them shows, run by run, how much of what AI used was yours against third party; switch it between Sources and Mentions.

Domains and URLs

Two views, with shared filters for topic, AI model and date range:
  • Domains groups every cited website. The Top 10 Domains chart (switch it to Competitors to see only theirs) and the Domain types mix (Corporate, Editorial, Institutional, Review, Social, Community and so on) tell you what kind of source AI prefers in your category.
  • URLs breaks it down to individual pages: how many of your URLs were cited, the top URL’s citations, the average per URL, and a URL Types by Platform chart (Homepage, Article, Listicle, Comparison, How-To Guide, Product Page and so on) showing the content shapes each platform prefers. Every page AI cited, whoever owns it, is ranked by citations within the current filters.
Gap Analysis, the switch above either table, keeps only the gaps. On Domains: domains where a competitor shows up but you do not, in the answers or on the cited page. On URLs: pages AI cites that your brand is not on, excluding your own site and rival-owned sites you cannot get featured on.

Your most cited pages

The pages of your site that AI links to as sources, with tabs for your YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook profiles so you can see whether your social presence is being cited too. Protect and extend these pages: they are the format that already works for you.

Reddit threads

Switch the domains table from All sites to Reddit for community threads ranked by how often AI cites them within the current filters. Reddit is one of the most-cited source types on several platforms, and a thread that keeps appearing for your prompts is a place to be present and accurate.

Domain and URL detail

Click a domain or URL for its own page: how often it is cited per run split by platform, the prompts it appears for, recent chats that used it, and whether you are referenced on it. From a competitor’s page you can jump to the prompts where they are cited and you are not.

Reading Sources

  • Your domain absent from the top domains means AI does not yet trust you as a source in this category, whatever your mention rate. The fix is content that is structured to be cited, plus presence on the third-party sources AI already uses. Both become actions in the Action Centre.
  • A third-party page cited across many of your prompts is a placement target: a listing, a guest piece, a review, a correction. The Action Centre turns these into off-site outreach actions.
Ask Kevin about your sources from the bar at the top of the page. He can tell you which sources to chase first and why.
