The Koalr connector is a Looker Studio community connector. It authenticates with a connector key and reads the same stored daily rollup the Multi-Site Dashboard uses.

Dataset

One row per site per day. A date range is required and drives the query.

Setup

1

Create a connector key

In Koalr, an organisation owner opens Integrations, Looker Studio, creates a key and copies it. It is shown once.
2

Open the connector

From the same card, Open in Looker Studio. Looker Studio asks for credentials: paste the key.
3

Configure

Pick one site or All sites, then create the data source.
4

Build

Add charts. The date range control on your report drives the API query, so a scorecard, a time series and a per-site table all come from the same source.

Sharing with clients

Looker Studio reports are shared through Looker Studio’s own sharing. The viewer never needs a Koalr account. The data refreshes on Looker Studio’s schedule from stored runs, so it costs nothing against your plan.

Revoking

Revoke the key in Koalr under Connector keys. Looker Studio prompts for new credentials on the next refresh.

Numbers match the app

The connector reads the same stored rollup the Multi-Site Dashboard uses, so a figure in Looker always equals the figure in Koalr for the same site and day.
