The country is a site-level setting chosen when the site is created. It fixes two things for every prompt on that site, on every run:
  1. Where the AI platforms are queried from. Results reflect what a person in that country is shown.
  2. The language prompts are generated and asked in.

What a country does not do

  • A place name in a prompt does not change the market. “Best running shoes in Berlin” on a United Kingdom site asks a UK-located platform, in English, a question that happens to mention Berlin.
  • Topics do not segment by geography. A topic called “Germany” is still a group of UK-market prompts.
  • No metric, filter, report or export is broken out by country within a site.

Selling into several countries

Track one site per market. That is the only supported setup, and it is a good one:
  • The sites can all point at the same domain (a locale URL such as acme.com/de, a country domain, or the same global URL).
  • Each market site gets its own country, language, competitors (rivals differ market to market), prompts in the local language, Prompt Visibility Rate, actions and reports.
  • They sit in one organisation, so All Sites lists them together and the Multi-Site Dashboard compares them side by side.
  • Each market site counts as one site against your plan.

Many towns in one market

The multi-site onboarding path stamps one shared setup across many locations inside one country: same topics and prompts, localised per town, with rivals discovered city by city. It is built for one market with many locations, not for many countries. See Multi-site onboarding.

Available countries

Koalr offers a growing list of countries at setup, including the United Kingdom, United States, Ireland, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, with language following the country. If the market you need is not listed, email support@koalr.ai.
